Thank you for visiting Forrestdale Tools. The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy. 

Processing your Order

An email confirmation is sent to your email address after placing your order. Please keep this email as proof of your purchase.

 Shipment Processing Time

Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping.

 After your payment is authorised and verified, all orders are processed same day or next business day. We will contact you if, for some reason, there are any delays.

Shipment Locations

We ship within Australia, via AusPost, to both commercial and domestic addresses.

Shipment rates and delivery estimates

We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed, an estimated delivery time will be provided to you once available. Delivery times are estimate and commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed.

Most orders are shipped via express shipping by default. The order will arrive within 1-4 business days for express shipping or 2-7 business days for standard shipping. These estimates are based on Aus Post’s recent delivery performance and does not take into account any current disruptions that may cause delay.

Shipping cost is $15 unless otherwise stated. Heavy items are calculated by weight. 

Please note:

  • Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.
  • Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.
  • Products may be delivered in separate shipments
  • If the product is out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible. It may take several weeks for it to be delivered from the warehouse and shipped to you, depending on whether the product is available at the warehouse or needs to be manufactured. We will inform you of any delays.
  • We will not be responsible for wrong shipping address if you provide incorrect information.
  • In-store pickup dates vary based on product availability. Please contact us to advise when you would like to pick up in-store so we can ensure someone will be there to help you. Store hours are generally Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. After hours by appointment only.

Tracking

We will keep you updated with a delivery due date once available. Please reach out to us if you need more tracking information.

Damages

Returns

Forrestdale Tools is committed to making your shopping experience as easy and stress-free as possible. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can simply return the item within the policies outlined below.

Change of Mind

We are happy to offer a return if you change your mind, but also reserve the right to decline a return if the requirements are not satisfied within our policies.

  • Must be returned within 30 days of parcel receipt
  • Must be in its saleable condition (i.e. product in its original packaging, unopened, unused)
  • Return postage costs must be paid by the customer

30 day returns exclusions

Special order products are not covered by the 30 day returns policy. Items which need to be back-ordered from a supplier can not be returned for change of mind.

Cancellations

Cancelling orders that have been shipped must be posted back to us, at the expense of the customer. The product to be returned must be packed securely and sent via registered post in order for you to be able to track the parcel.

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the product until it is received by us. Products that have been tampered with cannot be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.

Incorrect or Faulty Products Delivered
If the ordered item are not of an acceptable quality or have arrived damaged, then you may be eligible for a full refund, replacement or repair of the items. We will offer a replacement or refund if any product delivered to you is damaged or incorrect. In such a scenario where the product you received is not what you placed an order for then please get in touch with us within 7 days of parcel delivery. Upon looking into the issue we will help you with a pre-paid shipping label to return the product. You can then choose to either have the correct product re-delivered at our cost or receive a full refund. In such a scenario where the product you received is damaged or defective please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the condition of the damaged or defective item. Upon careful consideration and depending on the Manufacturer’s Policy for the product in question might offer to provide one of the below resolutions:

  • Replacement
  • Refund you for the product
  • Exchange the product

Refunds

All returns will need to be confirmed with us first before returning the products. Unauthorised returns may be refused. No item will be refunded until received and carefully inspected by us.

To be eligible for a return & refund, the following conditions apply:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving the item
  • Items must be returned in a resalable condition. The items must be unused & within the original packaging with all accessories & manuals included
  • A valid proof of purchase must be provided or a return request may be denied
  • If the items are a “Special Order” which are not part of the Forrestdale Tools core range, then a refund or exchange will not be accepted
  • Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged

Returned products will be checked. The products are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure the product is packed in a sturdy and secure manner so as to avoid any damage in transit.
